The UK Clinical Pharmacy Association is a membership association which unites the clinical pharmacy community, with members from a broad range of specialties, professions and sectors.

Through post-registration education and training, support and development opportunities, we enable the delivery of outstanding pharmaceutical care, ensuring that patients receive the best possible outcome from their medicines.

Our members share their expertise, resources and best practice. Our community is supportive, stimulating and inspiring, offering opportunities to explore, learn and flourish.

We have great ambitions, but we need amazing people to help us fulfil them. We’re looking for two fantastic individuals to help us deliver our strategic plan. 

Strategic Development Manager

We have an exciting opportunity for a proactive and organised individual to join our team as Strategic Development Manager. This newly created role will enable us to deliver a comprehensive annual education programme and supportive community which meets the needs of the pharmacy workforce, supporting pharmacy professionals throughout their careers. 

This is a critical role in the delivery of our Strategic Plan. The Strategic Development Manager will report to the CEO and will work within our small, friendly, busy team.

This is a part-time role on a fixed term basis (in the first instance), with 100% remote working plus some face-to-face training days and meetings throughout the year.

  • Have a thorough and up-to-date understanding of the education and professional development needs of the pharmacy workforce
  • Are a highly organised, forward planning and independent thinker
  • Are able to collaborate constructively to create the conditions for successful partnership working.

Strategic Development Coordinator

This newly created role will support the Strategic Development Manager, and wider team, to help us to deliver a comprehensive annual education programme and supportive community which meets the needs of the pharmacy workforce, supporting pharmacy professionals throughout their careers. 

This is a valuable and varied role, reporting to the Strategic Development Manager and the Director of Operations, and working within our small, friendly, busy team.

  • Enjoy keeping busy with a variety of tasks
  • Relish getting to grips with new technology systems and processes
  • Can problem-solve autonomously but know when to ask for help 
  • Can be both diligent in following processes and creative in suggesting improvements.
