Anti-Money Laundering Obligations
Businesses across numerous sectors face compliance pressures from regulatory authorities, such as HMRC. The importance of having robust Anti-Money Laundering policies and procedures in place has never been more critical. Therefore, the UKCPA requires all prospective members to confirm they are who they say they are via the Credas app. All information you provide is stored on secure servers, all communication between the app and the servers is carried out over secure connections, and all data is encrypted.
Credas assists UKCPA to meet Anti-Money Laundering legislation requirements by confirming prospective members’ address, DOB, mortality and presence on Politically Exposed Persons (PEP’s) and Sanctions lists. Identify verification acts as a safeguard, helping to prevent identity theft and fraudulent payments.
Once you have completed the UKCPA registration form and paid your membership subscription fee, you will be sent a unique link to complete the Credas process.
Please note: Your UKCPA membership benefits will not be activated until this process has been completed.
