About this event 

This webinar will outline the advanced use of technology in pharmacy practice and its impact on safe and effective medication use.

Aim 

The aim of this webinar is to provide participants with insights into the advanced use of technology in pharmacy practice and to examine its role in enhancing the safety and effectiveness of medication use.

Target audience 

This webinar is intended for pharmacists with an interest in pharmacy automation and technology, those specialising in medication and patient safety, pharmacists working in secondary care or GP surgeries, as well as other healthcare professionals involved in digital health.

Learning outcomes 

After this webinar, attendees should be able to:

  • Discuss the concepts of big data, real world evidence and interoperability, and highlight their relevance to pharmacy practice
  • Demonstrate the role of technology in improving the safety and efficiency of daily pharmacy operations
  • Highlight how COVID-19 influenced the adoption of technology in pharmacy practice
