About this event

Medication safety in children remains one of the most complex areas of healthcare. Aim

The aim of this webinar is to provide attendees with insight into common paediatric medication safety challenges, learning from safety incidents and near misses, and recent developments to help reduce medication errors.

Target audience

This webinar is ideal for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians working across hospital and generalist settings, with an interest in paediatric medication safety and reducing medication errors.

Learning outcomes

After this webinar, attendees should be able to:

  • Describe common safety challenges associated with prescribing and administration of medication in paediatrics
  • Discuss learning from examples of paediatric safety incidents and near misses
  • Describe recent developments that may reduce the likelihood of medication errors from occurring
