This webinar is an introduction to how frail patients can be safely cared for in a hospital at home or within a virtual ward service and the pharmaceutical care they receive. Speakers from around the UK will present exciting cases demonstrating the impact pharmacy has in this new service. The event will conclude with a panel discussion with an opportunity for attendees to ask the speakers questions.
The aim of this session is to equip pharmacists with the knowledge and skills to provide specialist pharmaceutical care for frail patients in hospital at home and virtual wards.
This webinar is suitable for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians working in hospital and generalist settings, including general practice and the community, as well as those working in academia.
