About this event

Status epilepticus is a condition with high mortality rate and yet, management is often chaotic and ineffective, with medications used randomly and/or at ineffective doses or timing. The speakers will provide clarity to the role of different agents and the dynamic that comes into play in status epilepticus, from acute management to specialist management in the neuro critical care environment.

Aim

The aim of this webinar is to refresh attendees’ knowledge of the management of status epilepticus and apply this to their own practice.

This webinar is ideal for secondary care pharmacists of all experience levels who manage patients with status epilepticus.

Learning outcomes

After this webinar, attendees should be able to:

  • Discuss the treatment options for status epilepticus and the importance of timing and doses
