About this event:

This webinar will cover symptom management in palliative and end of life care. It will include the role of pharmacy in supporting patients and families at transfer of care to ensure that they have access to the right medicines in their preferred place of care and death.

This webinar has been designed for any pharmacy professionals who are or may be involved in the care of patients in the palliative and end of life stage of life.  

The aim of this webinar is to equip pharmacy professionals with the knowledge to optimise pharmaceutical care patients in the palliative and end of life stages of life. It will highlight the importance of cooperating across professions and organisations to achieve the best outcome for the individual patient.

Learning outcomes:

  • To describe the key symptoms that may occur at the end of life
  • To explain the management of symptoms
  • To discuss where pharmacy professionals can support patients and families to ensure that they have access to the right medicines in their preferred place of care and death.

Registration will close at midnight on 4 June 2025 or earlier if maximum capacity is reached. Should this course not reach its minimum number, the UKCPA reserves the right to cancel the event.
