About this event

This webinar explores the unique health experiences of women living with HIV, including pregnancy and breastfeeding, menopause, cervical cancer screening, and mental health. We’ll take a look at the latest research and clinical guidance, alongside powerful lived experiences, to provide pharmacy professionals with practical insights to support person centred care.

Aim

The aim of this webinar is to equip pharmacy professionals with up-to-date knowledge and practical insights on the unique health needs of women living with HIV.

Target audience

This webinar has been designed for advanced and specialist pharmacists and pharmacy technicians working in a hospital setting.

Learning outcomes

After this webinar, attendees should be able to:

  • Discuss the unique biological/ social challenges faced by women living with HIV
  • Explore current best practice for screening, prevention and management of conditions
  • Recognise the impact of menopause on treatment adherence and overall wellbeing
  • Apply insights from recent research/ lived experience to improve clinical practice, policy and community support initiatives
