About this event

Join us for this webinar where our expert speakers will provide an overview of H-pylori infection, including its background, clinical significance, and current management strategies. It will explore emerging treatments in the UK, including the role of Pylera, and highlight the latest updates from national guidelines.  The session will also address the management of complicated and refractory cases, offering practical insights to support clinical decision-making in challenging scenarios.

Aim

The aim of this webinar is to provide attendees with an overview of H-pylori infection, including its clinical significance, current management strategies, emerging UK treatments such as Pylera, and practical approaches to managing complicated and refractory cases in line with the latest national guidelines.

Target audience

This webinar is designed for gastroenterology and infection pharmacists involved in the care of H-pylori patients. It is suitable for both new and advanced pharmacists in primary and secondary settings.

Learning outcomes

After this webinar, attendees should be able to:

  • Demonstrate an understanding of the background of H-pylori
  • Discuss how to manage complicated or refractory H-pylori cases
  • Evaluate existing and new treatments in the UK and positioning of treatments
