The webinar will provide an update on the different GLP-1 RA based therapies with a particular focus in cardiovascular diseases.  It will cover the NICE technology appraisal guidance for Semaglutide in reducing cardiovascular risk and the supporting evidence.

Cardiorenal metabolic disease states will also be covered, and how GLP-1 RA based therapies are used in these interconnecting conditions. Case studies will be discussed to provide practice-based examples of how to optimise patient pharmacotherapy and lifestyle interventions.

Aim

The aim of this webinar is to update attendees on the use of GLP-1 RA based therapies in cardiovascular diseases and how to manage patients at risk of or have co-existing cardiorenal metabolic diseases.
