About this event

Curious about how to engage with research alongside clinical practice? Whichever sector you work in, research is an essential driver of improvement in pharmacy practice and patient outcomes. This webinar will introduce you to the building blocks of research, the role of audit and quality improvement, and the diverse opportunities available. We’ll also explore how the profession can grow research capacity and support the next generation of pharmacy researchers. Perfect for pharmacy professionals at all stages or their career.

Aim

The aim of this webinar is to introduce pharmacists to the foundations of research, highlighting its role in improving patient care and showcasing practical routes to getting started.

Target audience

This event is aimed at pharmacists working in secondary care or academia, spanning all career stages from early career to those at an advanced level.

Learning outcomes

After this webinar, attendees should be able to:

  • Recognise the importance of research, audit, and quality improvement in advancing pharmacy practice.
  • Identify different routes into research and the foundational skills needed to contribute effectively.
  • Discuss how research capacity can be built and reflect on personal opportunities to get involved.
