This is the third and final webinar in the Optimising modern diabetes care: A clinical update for pharmacy series. The growing prevalence of both obesity and diabetes is reshaping how metabolic disease is managed in clinical practice. This session will examine the shared pathophysiology and treatment goals of these conditions, alongside evolving therapeutic approaches and multidisciplinary care models. The discussion will focus on how pharmacy professionals can support safe prescribing, patient counselling, and optimisation of treatment strategies that address both conditions in tandem.
