This webinar will share the background and current management of hepatic encephalopathy and hepatorenal syndrome. It will also cover clinical management including medical therapies.

This is a collaborative session with British Hepatology Pharmacist Group (BHPG)  

Aim

This webinar aims to provide a comprehensive overview of hepatic encephalopathy (HE) and hepatorenal syndrome (HRS), including their underlying mechanisms, clinical presentation, diagnostic criteria, and current management strategies. It will also promote adherence to clinical guidelines to reduce morbidity and mortality associated with advanced liver disease.
