UKCPA only exists because of the hundreds of volunteer members who ensure that UKCPA fulfils its mission of improving patient care through excellent clinical pharmacy practice.

We are grateful and immensely proud of every single one of our volunteers. Applications are now open for the following volunteer roles and close at 6pm on 31 January 2022:

BOARD OF DIRECTOR ROLES

Supporting information:

“Being a Director has been a humbling experience both personally and professionally. It has given me the opportunity to work with an inspiring group of pharmacists and the UKCPA team and input into the developments of the UKCPA over the past few years. From a personal perspective, I have thoroughly enjoyed my directorship and grown as an individual in confidence. I would encourage our members to consider applying for different UKCPA roles as a fantastically rewarding learning opportunity.” Ramandeep Kaur, UKCPA Director (Membership Committee)

“Being a UKCPA Director has given me an opportunity to enhance my leadership skills and strategic thinking. UKCPA is regularly contacted by national organisations for its clinical pharmacy perspective and therefore has allowed me to contribute to national stakeholder groups. I have also been able to experience and develop an understanding of the financial and legal responsibilities of corporate practice through the various ongoing projects, an opportunity that I would not have had in my day job. In addition, the opportunity and experiences have supported me in my personal development and confidence in making decisions that have impacted across the organisation and its members. I strongly recommend the role to those who are aspiring leaders and want to shape the future of our profession.” Pavitar Gandham, UKCPA Director (Membership Committee)
