Overview: The day is structured around the patient’s journey from beginning to the end of life. Sessions will be mainly delivered by specialist paediatric pharmacists with some from clinicians for the additional knowledge of treatment and management to pharmacists who are either already working in paediatric oncology or new to their roles. We hope this would provide valuable exposure when treating shared care patients at local hospitals. This will be the first of a series of study days throughout the year with the aim of building clinical pharmacists’ confidence in managing complex patients within this cohort.
