In June 2021, NICE produced guidelines for Healthcare Professionals on Shared Decision Making. This session will address what Shared Decision Making is. It will share with the audience practical tips on how to introduce shared decision making into their professional lives. It will discuss ways of communicating risk, benefits and consequences.
This webinar is aimed at patient facing pharmacists. However, as shared decision making impacts all healthcare professionals, it is open to all.
The aim of this session to increase pharmacist professionals awareness of the NICE Shared Decision Making Guideline (NG17) and how it can be incorporated into every day professional life.
