Session 1 of a 2 part series.
Recognising opioid toxicity can be difficult where patients are expected to decline because of their diagnosis and current state of health. This session tries to differentiate between signs and symptoms that can support that recognition and how best to manage it in the community setting in a patient’s home.
This webinar is suitable for all clinicians managing patients on opioids and aims to support clinicians in the recognition of opioid toxicity and how to manage it in the community setting.
After this webinar, participants should be able to:
- Recognise opioid toxicity
- Identify patients at greatest risk of opioid toxicity
- Manage opioid toxicity if suspected
