This webinar will provide an overview of antimicrobial stewardship challenges for children, providing an update on the unique infective challenges seen in children and how antimicrobial stewardship services can be adapted accordingly. Join us as we discuss potential strategies for providing tailored AMS services for children.

This webinar is ideal for antimicrobial and anti-infective pharmacists and clinicians working with paediatric infections.

The aim of this webinar is to provide pharmacists and clinicians with insight and overview on the challenges of adapting AMS to the paediatric population.

At the end of this webinar, participants should be able to:

  1. Describe the common infective aetiology seen in paediatrics
  2. Review the burden of antimicrobial resistance in children in the UK
  3. Discuss the treatment options available for children and how licensing and compliance can influence options
