This webinar will provide an overview of the management of the direct oral anticoagulants (DOACs) in primary and secondary care, with case studies to assist clinical practice covering common scenarios, management of minor bleeding events, improving the safety of DOACs and minimising medication errors with practical advice.

Primary care and hospital pharmacists with a specialist interest in anticoagulation or thrombosis will particularly benefit from attending this webinar, as will non-specialists and newly qualified pharmacists.  The principles and content can be applied to primary and secondary care to assist with the management and monitoring of DOAC therapy.

The aim of this webinar is to cover the practical elements for DOACs in primary and secondary care, debunking myths, how to deal with scenarios and improving the safety of DOACs to ensure appropriate and safe anticoagulation management.

After this webinar, participants should be able to:
