Abstract and Awards programme
The call for abstracts for presentation as a poster at the UKCPA virtual conference has now closed.
This year, the UKCPA will be recognising the following submissions:
- Best Abstract
- Best Poster (from all pharmacy team members including Pharmacy Technicians and work done as Pre Registration Pharmacists)
All accepted abstracts will be included in the electronic abstract booklet, along with a PDF of the poster. The top 10 scoring submissions will be invited to record a short slide show of their work and participate in the live abstract and poster Q&A session.
By having your abstract accepted you will receive the following benefits:
- A conference proceeding citation for your CV. All accepted abstracts which conform to the specified guidelines will be published in the Abstract Guide and online
- An opportunity to present your valuable work to the wider pharmacy community, during the abstract and poster presentation webinar
Important notice: All submissions must adhere to the specified guidelines and formats. Please check the guidelines before preparing your work.
Only UKCPA members are eligible to have their work included at our conferences. We accept submissions from non members but membership must be taken out prior to receiving any abstract feedback or conference registration.
You can find examples of winning work, the marking forms the adjudicators use and other support resources in our library: https://ukclinicalpharmacy.org/community/our-library/
