Dates: 2nd May, 27th June, 10th October – delegates must be able to attend all 3 meetings.
Venue: BMA House, Tavistock Square, London, WC1H 9JP.
Overview: The Pharmacy Futures in Diabetes programme was designed to empower pharmacists to change diabetes through training, collaboration and peer to peer engagement. The pharmacist’s central position in the team offers the opportunity to make a difference, adding value to existing services by changing the way other disciplines work to deliver patient care. The first series of workshops were first developed and delivered in 2017.
Medicines Optimisation, Integrated Care Systems and Implementation of the Carter Review are just a few of the major initiatives that will be discussed throughout the workshops. Personal Skills Trainers will be present to lead sessions that have been designed through a Pharmacy Reference Group to meet the needs of the profession going forward in this new era.
Contact: To apply for a place, please email firstname.lastname@example.org by 25th April 2018. Places will be strictly limited to 20 pharmacists.
Sponsors: These meetings are fully funded by Novo Nordisk Ltd.
