Our community is diverse and that’s its strength. Whatever clinical issue you are facing, you are sure to find a UKCPA member who has experience, advice and best practice to share with you.
Even if you work alone, with UKCPA you are always connected to a large, welcoming community of clinical pharmacy practitioners.
Our members are practising in all areas of the UK and abroad, in hospital, primary care and community sectors. Some of our members are specialists in particular areas of clinical pharmacy, and some are generalists.
We have members who are new to practising pharmacy and members who are at the peak of their career. What they have in common is that they are all passionate about supporting and developing the pharmacy profession and improving patient care, and they are able to do this through the UKCPA community.
Our members are practising in all areas of the UK and abroad, in hospital, primary care and community sectors.
Our members get involved by sharing their experiences or supporting others via the online forums or writing articles for our newsletters. Others are part of our education groups and help to develop training materials or share their knowledge at our training events.
Our General Committee includes members who like to get involved at the strategic level, and we often have smaller project working groups which our members are invited to join. Some of our members are invited to contribute to profession-wide initiatives such as developing professional curricula, being assessors for the RPS Faculty, or contributing to national guidance and policy development.
There is plenty to get involved in and plenty to learn. Our community will welcome and support you on your professional journey.
